Peanut Butter Jelly Banana Smoothie

Just randomly whipped up this jar of delish after yoga this morning. Best thing ever.

I had a little bit of peanut butter left at the bottom of the jar and some berries to get rid of before I left for the rest of the week. Threw in a banana, some almond milk and chia seeds - oh my goodness. I feel like I'm five years old again drinking this thing.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 banana
Handful of fresh blueberries
1 tbs peanut butter
Almond milk
Vanilla whey protein (optional)
Chia seeds
Ice

Directions


1. Blend banana, berries, almond milk and protein first.
2. Add ice and blend until smooth.
3. THEN add peanut butter to blender (it will blend easier this way).
4. Add chia seeds and mix for 10 seconds.

No idea where I bought this PB but I'm obsessed. And now I'm out. Help.

If you aren't into chia seeds, you can definitely omit them. They are a little chewy which kind of works well with the peanut butter.

This also probably doesn't need the whey protein since you are getting protein from the peanut butter, but full disclosure - I was on the phone while I was making this so I was just grabbing things out of my cabinet and throwing them in together. Happy accident smoothie should probably be the name.
